I'm sure you all have heard by now that Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minillo are expecting a baby. While I think it's great and am happy for them, I can't help but wish it were Jessica? I'm still nostalgic for the Newlyweds days.

We had a great Christmas in both Asheville and Cincinnati! Now it's back to the grind. Fortunately, this is a short work week and my sister is coming to Charleston to celebrate New Year's!

A Taste Of Home

Last night, Mark and I indulged in some Skyline 3-ways. They tasted just as good as I remember! Luckily, Mark loves all Cincinnati classics: Graeter's, Montgomery Inn, goetta (did anyone see the Man vs. Food in Cinci?!), LaRosa's, and of course Skyline.

To Mark's disappointment, I will not be dressing up for Halloween. I will, however, be wearing an orange blouse that I purchased at F21 a few weeks ago. I consider that to be a decent effort.

Count on me overindulging in the sweets department though....

I've got a bone to pick with Kim & Kyle Richards, who are being kind of nasty this season on RHOBH. I always liked Kyle, but this side of her is not pretty. She's clearly in denial of Kim's problem(s).

I'm wanting to go see this movie but haven't heard reviews from too many people. It was filmed in my hometown of Cincinnati (and some scenes at my alma mater, Miami U!) which makes it even more interesting! How bad can a movie be with Clooney and Gosling?

I just caught the wedding special with Vanessa Minnillo and Nick Lachey on TLC.

And something just doesn't feel right! I own(ed) all of the Newlyweds DVD's and have fond memories of watching them over and over back in college (free time much?). I looooovvvved Nick and Jessica and was seriously so sad when they broke up.

Do you guys know that Nick is a Cincinnati boy? And he went to Miami? Holla!
