Royal Wannabe

When we were married in November, I walked down the aisle to Trumpet Voluntary. I'm sure many other brides have done the same. But, I cant help but feeling a bit nostalgic for our wedding every time I hear it, which has been a lot lately, due to all of the Royal Wedding coverage. Check it out here. Princess Diana walked down the (VERY long) aisle to the famed procession when she was wed to Prince Charles.

Check out that train! Perhaps Kate Middleton will follow in Lady Di's footsteps? There's been so much speculation about the day, I will be glad to finally have it all put to rest.

That being said, I am very much looking forward to all of tomorrow's coverage! I doubt I'll be up at 4am. But probably soon after, as we usually go to the gym before work.

Whether the naysayers want to admit it or not this is a historical and momentous event that's not to be missed.

  1. As a little girl, after I watched Charles and Di get married, I would lay the Trumpet Voluntary (my mother's music) and walk around holding a flower arrangement. I will totally walk down the aisle to it. And I want a 5 piece brass ensemble to play it. Because every girl deserves her princess moment, right?
