I just caught the wedding special with Vanessa Minnillo and Nick Lachey on TLC.
And something just doesn't feel right! I own(ed) all of the Newlyweds DVD's and have fond memories of watching them over and over back in college (free time much?). I looooovvvved Nick and Jessica and was seriously so sad when they broke up.
Do you guys know that Nick is a Cincinnati boy? And he went to Miami? Holla!

Now Vanessa seems like a nice, down-to-earth girl. But, I miss Nick & Jess! I'm still holding out hope for a reconciliation.
Okay, I officially need a life.
I agree I like Nick and Jessica so much more then him and Vanessa. I feel the same way about Brad Pitt and Jennifer Anniston I keep hoping they will get back together!
ReplyDeleteI love love love Nick! One of my favorite parts about Newlyweds was that he was always wearing something Cincinnati related. My roommate DVR'd the wedding and we've got plans tonight to watch!
ReplyDeleteI totally agree! I just watched the Nick and Vanessa wedding special and something just wasn't right. I miss Nick & Jess! Did they get married at that church where he took Vanessa? There seemed to be an awkward pause when he said "my parents got married here, my brother got married here,......"

ReplyDeleteHaha! I own the DVDs, too! When they broke up, I remember thinking 'If they can't make it, no one can!'. I do think there is a curse on couples that have reality TV shows. You'd think he'd have learned his lesson....
ReplyDeleteI liked Newlyweds too! I definitely won't watch any other shows with Nick on them. Not that he is lovely, I'm sure, but their story was so sweet and they were so cute together. You just can't re-do that with someone else.
